Using The Batch Processing Wizard

Batch processing enables you to modify the file formats, image size, orientation, and color mode of a group of files. You can save the options of the operation as batch scripts and reuse them on other files.

The Batch Processing Wizard guides you through the steps to create and edit batch scripts. You can create batch scripts to import photos from your digital camera, prepare graphics for your web site, change file comments in a group of GIF and JPEG files or simply rename multiple files at once.

To use the Batch Processing Wizard while in the Browse area, choose File > Batch Process, or press this button  on the toolbar.

  • New Creates a new batch script.
  • Copy Makes a copy of the selected batch script
  • Edit Changes the options in the selected batch script
  • Rename Changes the name of the selected batch script
  • Delete Removes the batch script
  • Run If any images were selected when you chose File > Batch Process, this will batch process the selected image files using the currently selected batch script.
