Importing a File Sequence

If you already have a group of images that you want to make into an animated sequence, the best way to start is to choose File > Import > File Sequence . A dialog box opens that lets you choose the files you want to include in the animation.

To add new files to the sequence, click the Add button, and browse to the files on your drive. Continue to add files until you have completed the sequence. The animation frames play in the same order that they occur in the list. If you need to remove files from the list, select the file and click Remove. Click the Remove All button to clear the file list.

Next, choose the Loop setting. None plays through the animation once and stops, while Forever loops the animation indefinitely. You can also specify a set number of times the animation loops by entering a value into the box.

You can also set the Interframe delay and Disposal method frame properties.
