| Printing a Photo |
|
You can print the opened images in the View & Edit area by
choosing the File > Print Preview, or pressing this button
When you first enter the Print Preview, make sure the printer, paper size and
other printer settings are set correctly. You can change these settings at any
time by choosing File > Printer Settings, or by pressing
this toolbar button Next you specify the print size of the image on paper by choosing one of the options in the Print size menu. Choose Full Page to let MagicViewer calculate the print size to maximize the printable area for the paper you have selected. You can also choose one of the five common sizes for prints to put in the wallet, picture frames or photo albums. These sizes will adjust to the orientation of the paper. You can also choose Specify Below to enter the exact print size yourself for better control of the print. In some cases, the image and the print size may have different aspect ratios. For example, the image could be a square and the print size more like a rectangle. You can choose Shrink Image to Fit option to print the whole image at a smaller size that will fit inside the print size. If you choose Crop Image to Fit, the image will appear larger but cropped to have the same aspect ratio as the print size. Adjust the Crop Offset slider to find the best position for the image to look in the preview. The alignment options let you specify how to position the printed image on paper. You can print the file comments by checking the Print file comments option, and use the Font size option to select the size of the printed text. When you are ready to print, choose File > Print. When you are done printing, choose Exit Print Preview to return to the View & Edit area. |
