| Publishing to Web |
You can create and publish a personal photo album on the Web, or FTP graphic files of your web site directly from MagicViewer.
Choosing the picture size You can set a limit on the image size by choosing one of the five commonly used image sizes. MagicViewer will resize the image if its size is greater than the specified size. No resizing will take place if you choose Original Size. Setting the file name option
You can also give the image files more meaningful names by filling in the file
name field and specify number of digits to use in the serial number when you
are publishing multiple files. Filling in server information You need to fill in the FTP server name or IP address, your account user name and password in order to login and FTP files to the server. Consult the manual or web site of your Internet Service Provider (ISP), or the IT department of your company to obtain these information if needed. If you choose to Remember Password , the password will be encrypted before being stored on your system to protect your privacy. You can publish to a sub directory on your FTP server by filling in the Server directory. If the directory does not exist it will be created during the process. If you want to publish to a sub directory multiple levels below the root, use either / or \ to separate directory names. When selected, the Generate index page option creates an HTML file using the specified name to display thumbnail images of the files you publish. You or your friends and family can click on the thumbnails to view the published images. This is also useful if you are publishing graphics of your web site. |
