Sepia Effect

Sepia effect gives an image an aged look by tinting the image with a brownish gray color. MagicViewer allows you to tint the image with any color of you choice. You can also blend the tinted image with the origial to make an appearance of a color painted black and white photo.

To create the Sepia effect

  1. Open the image in the View & Edit area
  2. Select the areas in the image you want to apply the effect, or you can apply the Sepia effect to the whole image when there is no selection
  3. Choose Image > Effects > Sepia
  4. If the image is not in RGB full color mode, you will be prompted to convert the color mode, press YES to enter the effect mode for the Sepia effect
  5. Pick a color tone by dragging the rectangle inside the color swatch
  6. Adjust the Blend with original slider to add the original into the resulting image, a zero value selects only the blurred image, and 100 selects the original image
